Rafael Torres Henrique
Rafael Torres is the head coach of A.S.D. Rilion Gracie Italia, teaching at its Santa Giustina and Belluno locations. In 2007 he founded his first academy in Italy with the aim of spreading Brazilian jiu-jitsu and the principles of ground fighting, and from the start it drew a growing number of beginners and experienced practitioners. Torres brought the traditional Gracie method to Italy, emphasising respect, discipline and dedication, and training students in the philosophy of the art as well as its techniques. Over the years the school has expanded its network, opening further academies in the country, training new instructors and organising seminars, competitions and events, and it is part of the lineage of Rilion Gracie, who set out to expand his vision of jiu-jitsu in Europe.
