Ricardo Alves Carmo Ribeiro

Ricardo Ribeiro is one of the partners behind Rilion Gracie Botafogo, which the site describes as the realisation of a long-held dream for its founders. Encouraged by his father, Ricardo Arthur, a fifth-degree black belt graded by Grão-Mestre Reyson Gracie who began training in the 1970s, he started jiu-jitsu at the age of three, in 1991. He trained directly with grand masters Reyson Gracie and Osvaldo Alves and with coral belt master Kiko Veloso, and earned his black belt at Gracie Barra. The site names him and Jorge Selem as the people responsible for Rilion Gracie Botafogo, where they have been developing the academy's next generation of instructors since 2013.
