Rodrigo Pinheiro Breves

Rodrigo Pinheiro is the co-owner of Rodrigo Pinheiro Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu / Pete Spratt Muay Thai in San Antonio, Texas, which he has led with Pete Spratt since their partnership began in 2008. He started training in Brazil in the early 1990s and went on to win multiple world championships before deciding that teaching jiu-jitsu was how he could help others; the site notes he never expected the art to become a career, let alone lead to his own academy. Pinheiro has promoted more than 50 black belts, and the academy credits his decorated competitive background with shaping its competition program, pushing both students and instructors to develop as competitors.
