Rudy Lee Bears

Rudy Bears is the founder of Rudy Bears Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu & MMA in the Westport neighborhood of Kansas City. A former professional mixed martial artist, he made his professional debut in 2007 and competed in the welterweight division for organizations including Bellator, Strikeforce, Titan Fighting Championships and M-1 Global. Originally from Kansas City, Bears has a background in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu alongside his MMA career. After fighting, he turned to teaching and established his academy, where he leads a coaching staff and works with students of all ages and backgrounds. The school's stated values are respect, discipline and perseverance.
