Sandro da Silva Lima
Sandro "Bala" da Silva Lima is one of the two masters behind 2 Brothers BFC, together with his brother Júlio "Pudim" César da Silva Lima. Both are disciples of the late Mestre Banni Cavalcanti, who was himself a student of Carlson Gracie. In 1999 Sandro da Silva Lima emigrated to Portugal in search of a better quality of life. Between jobs, he gathered a small group of students at the Complexo Desportivo do Feijó and began giving the area's first jiu-jitsu classes, which is where the Feijó academy traces its roots. The academy describes him as one of the people chiefly responsible for spreading jiu-jitsu in Portugal, and its current professor, José Gomes, first learned of Brazilian jiu-jitsu through him in 2001.
