Scott Boudreau is the head coach of BUDō, the Vancouver academy of the Northwest Jiu-Jitsu Team, a network of affiliated clubs under fifth degree black belt Brian Johnson. He is an IBJJF certified third-degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and a second-degree black belt in Kyokushin Karate. As a competitor he has won four IBJJF World Master Championships and an IBJJF Pan American Championship, and he is the founder of the AVA World Submission Grappling Federation, an international tournament league. At BUDō he wrote the 'GROUND ZERO: A to Z Starter's Guide' curriculum on which the Fundamentals classes are based, and he continually refines the All Levels curriculum so that it evolves with the modern game.
