Steven Robert Campbell

Steve Campbell is the head instructor at Stealth BJJ HQ in Manchester and a fifth degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He spent eight years training at the Gracie Barra headquarters in Rio de Janeiro, where he received every one of his grades under Carlos Gracie Jr, one of the first European black belts to do so. He became the first Mancunian BJJ black belt in January 2007, after a brown belt year in which he won the Rio state championships and the Copa Rolls Gracie and took silver at the Brazilian championships. As a black belt in 2007 he won gold in the Rio State League and Rio State Championships and bronze at the Worlds and World Cup in the Master 1 division. Campbell still competes occasionally but now focuses on coaching, teaching most of the classes at Stealth and training with his students daily.
