Tyrone Dion Angolia

Tyrone Angolia is a professor at Precision Martial Arts in Corvallis and holds a third-degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He began Praying Mantis Kung Fu in 1994, trained with his Sifu for the next ten years, and in 2003 became a successor of the Chen Zhen Yi lineage of 7 Star Praying Mantis Kung Fu. He took up MMA in 2007 and started competing the following year, and his enjoyment of those matches led him to Jiu Jitsu, which he began under Ben Baxter in 2009. A multiple-time IBJJF medalist and brown belt American National champion, he focuses his teaching on helping students build kinesthetic awareness, neuromuscular connection, and muscular endurance through martial arts and conditioning.
